An avalanche of Easter photos.

An avalanche of photos for you tonight from the last 7 days - still awaiting a Wedding special blog post - once the photos are ready it will be all systems go.

Last week we went for a long walk in Mugdock with Marie, Barrie and Findlay - turns out our babies don't want to be in a pram for very long these days, they prefer to be travelling under their own steam

Time for a well earned lunch

The sun even shone this week and Sophie got some new shades.

Sophie and Katie also visited Aunt Judy and Uncle Robin and spent time with young Milly and Briony - Sophie had a great time, thanks girls!

Sophie liked the jack in a box in particular

And the sun was out some more so Sophie and Mummy sat in the garden and tried to plan what was going to happen in there next.

Aunt Isobel sent up an Easter duck for Sophie.
And Gran Hilary and Sophie spent some time in the back garden planning what was to happen next.

This week has started with a hectic Monday which included helping Uncle Paul and Auntie Nicole out in preparation for their honeymoon. We managed to slip in a quick visit to soft play though with Andrea, Ewen, Emily and Niamh.

Sophie is feeling so much better this week and although she isn't quite sleeping through the night yet, she is having such a good time during the day that it has already been the best Easter holiday ever.

We get a new bath installed tomorrow so tonight we had a final bath in the wee baby bath - Sophie's getting too big these days!

Uncle Paul gets Married to Auntie Nicole

The Wedding of the year took place this week - which meant that Dad was busy helping out along with writing a speech. Meanwhile Mum and Sophie were busy getting prepared - Granny Hilary came to help babysit but it was a very busy few days.

I am not going to post any photos from the Wedding yet but I will do a long post about the Wedding sometime in the next few weeks.

So your photos today are one from a few days before the Wedding, a couple of visits to the local parks and one from today post-wedding.

I will add more later this week as I am still on holiday. ;o)

The start of the Easter holidays

The Easter holidays at last! They have been a long time coming and we are all so relieved that we now get to spend some good quality time together.

We kicked it off with a coffee up at the cross and then followed it up today with a wee visit to the shops. Sophie is still on the mend but not 100% yet - still full of the nonsense though.

Another illness!

For such a happy wee girl she certainly gets her fair share of colds, coughs, sticky eyes and upset tums. This week I think she has had all of them! So lots of sleeping - just not at the times we want her to sleep!!! It did mean that I got to watch quite a bit of the cricket World Cup at 3am on a couple of days.

As pink as Peppa.
As quiet as a mouse.
Sophie did have all the babies over to the house on Friday but she didn't even manage to have as much fun as usual - och well, can't be on top form all the time.

Lois visited this week and Sophie took her to the park - Lois is 2 months older than Sophie but they got on really well.

In other news - Dad managed to put together a long awaited radiator cover to hide the hallway eyesore that was the electricity and gas meters. The masking tape on the floor was for measuring our two different options for mats.

Sophie's weekend finished with a quick visit to Gran and Grandad's to try and give her something to smile about - she had a great time as usual but definitely wasn't her usual self.

"Ok, where's the food Grandad?"
"See you next week!"
