We have gotten back on track with photos this week thanks to Katie.

Sophie this week went again to Monkey music which is all about songs and actions  and she was brilliant. She is also continuing to settle in at nursery and still teething!

Too much fun and too little time - no photos this week!

This week has been really busy and we have only just realised that we haven't had time to take any photos!

So here are some the nursery have taken of Sophie over the last two weeks along with two of her report cards.

Sophie is settling in well to nursery and last week was our very first full busy week of both Mum and Dad at work and Sophie at nursery on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.

My Mum has Sophie on a Monday for a full day and picks Sophie up from nursery - it seemed to go pretty well last week and was helped by the fact that Sophie slept through the night on all but one of the nights. Still up early but at least there seems to be no middle of the night teething troubles (here's hoping tonight is also ok!)

Sophie also this week went swimming, joined Monkey Music club (singing group), attended two barbecues, visited Gran and Grandad, got some new shoes, went to the park and fed the ducks, helped us make some cups of tea, hang up washing, fill the dishwasher up and sweep the floor. (no, it's not child labour ;o)

Here's hoping for another great week ahead for Sophie and for you too. Have a good one.

Sophie and her busy social life

Not much time to take or post photos this week as Sophie has had the first full week of both parents back at work. Settling in much better at nursery although since Thursday she has been cutting new teeth (again) looks like the incisors are coming through  now and hopefully  after that there should be some respite before the big molars  come through.

Sophie is talking more than ever and still having a great old time. I will try and post some of the other photos we have from this week later in the week.

For now these ones were taken at a barbecue at the weekend  which had lots of kids at it....also at messy monsters this week again

End of the summer holidays

So it is the end of my summer holidays - it has been great to spend so much time with Sophie and also so much time with my Mum who has continued to spend a lot of time with Sophie - it has let me do lots more stuff to the house! A great time and thanks to my Mum, from myself and Sophie.

Here are a few shots from the last week or so....

Sophie loved being in the driving seat of the VW Golf that just passed its latest MOT..

She was also playing with new friends today down the park - flirting with boys would you believe?

Sophie now walks most places until she gets too tired....

But she still gets really tired.....

Sophie had a great day on Saturday playing with Emily and Niamh....

And even kept my hat on whilst on the swings...

She loved the bouncy castle with Mum....

And she has been out with Gran for lots of walks....

We also spent an afternoon at Kelvingrove - why it was so exciting I cant remember...probably food...

oh yeah - it WAS food!

We did see the New Zealand pipe band getting ready for the World Championships...

And took some selfies next to the fountain...

I am back to work on Tuesday so things are going to change again - Sophie has had three settling in days at nursery and is doing really well although she does miss Mum and Dad, but it is great that she gets to meet new people.

Anyway - I am off to bed for now - more updates next week......

More teething - seriously?!

Sophie's teeth are still causing problems - but the end is in sight, all 4 of her molars are almost through. It will be a relief for us all once they are in.

The photos are Sophie waking to the swimming pool rather than being driven in the pram and Sophie exploring my Mum's garden today in between extra naps.
