A week of OK sleeping and some exciting happenings.

Not a bad week for sleeping it must be said - unfortunately since Friday we have been a bit restless during the night again. For what it is worth some of sophies friends parents are still out driving about at 3 in the morning trying to get their child to sleep.

On Saturday Grandad and Dad went down to Uncle Pauls and Auntie Nicole 's to do a bit of DIY.sophie and Mummy came down later for home made snacks and tea.

On Friday we got a new carpet in the spare room. I say new - what I mean is, a carpet. Finally.

Sophie loves playing with puppets recently and she also had fun playing in a blow up bed this week. How grown up?

New words and phrases? There may be some repetition from earlier lists - just thinking off the top of my head.

Learning journal update

Mum's back and we visited the Transport museum

The lack of writing on posts these days is really short changing anyone still reading this blog so please accept my apologies. This is mainly due to the fact that I am doing these posts on my phone and getting the formatting right is very time consuming.

Add to that the fact that I am trying to do this late on  Sunday night and you may guess the second part of the problem.

Anyway - excuses aside we have been having too much fun to spend time doing too much with the blog. This week was a short working week and signalled the end to a great Christmas break where Katie, Sophie and I spent some real quality time together.

This weekend Katie was off to Edinburgh for a night with her Mummy friends - so Dad was left to entertain the little princess all weekend. (See last post)

When Katie came back today we were both glad to see her. We packed the car up and shot off to the museum to see some trains, cars and buses. The weather has been so bad we have just been trying to get us all out the house as often as possible.

Sophie had a great laugh and loved the choo choos and the "man" who wad Clyde the commonwealth mascot.

Thanks for continuing to stop by and look at the photos.
