Gran from Campbeltown is here!

Sophie was really happy to see her Campbeltown Gran, Hilary, arriving today. There was a bundle of gifts for Sophie and she loved her new slippers in particular.

We had a great dinner, a great bath and a right old giggle - looking forward to a great week together.

Sophie enjoyed playing in the spare bed before Gran arrived.

We also had a wee day out at Kelvin grove on Saturday with Finlay and Marie. Lots of photos to follow.

Really important to make mention of a wee party that took place on Saturday for Auntie Karen - Sophie and the family were so proud of Auntie Karen that we had a wee surprise party to celebrate her recent BBC Audio drama award.

What an amazing achievement and a great wee afternoon party - well done Auntie Karen, we are all very proud.

Sophie requests that next time she sees the cats though please.

In the car home Sophie was asked who was at the party and the first name she said was Ronnie - and the way she said it was hilarious. We also heard her say Joyce and Karen really clearly.

A great weekend ended with a swimming lesson where we high fived all the other kids and a trip to the "park" to see the "swans" ended in some surprise as the Loch was all "icy".

Valentines day

The third of the posts this week - Katie and Mum went to silver burn, stopped for snacks and Sophie turned into a 10 year old (at least she looked that big) and Sophie gave us a lovely valentine card that she made at nursery.

Unwell - an old post that may not have been published

We have been a bit unwell this week - off our food and out of sorts. Loving the cuddles from Mum though. On the mend....

Learning Journal

A very quiet week.

All is quiet this week and very few photos I am afraid. We have had lots of good sleeps this week and Sophie is still loving nursery. That is all for this week folks - it is also tax return deadline night and I always like to leave it until the last minute to generate maximum excitement.
