Holidays

So the holidays have came and went  - we headed off to Whitby on our first road trip as a bigger family. Before we did this though we had to invest in a roof box for the car - even though the car is a good size by the time we put the pram in the boot we don't really have much room for luggage and we now can't stick any bags in the back seat as that is full.

We were joined by friends Calvin and Joanne and their wee boy Blake. It was a very quick few days where we managed to have lots of fun, however between the hours of 6 and 9pm  it was quite difficult getting both of the children down to sleep at the same time in an accommodation where you could hear everything upstairs from downstairs and in a place where we had to all "sleep" in the same room.

Anyway the last few days since we arrived back have been wonderful and everyone is really settling down into a routine - it is a really nice time.

Here are some photos from this week,

Blimey - it's the holidays!

You would be forgiven if you thought that I just didn't have the inclination any more to do this blog - forgiven you would be but incorrect you would more accurately be.

Without a shadow of a doubt the last 8 weeks has been harder than anything else - without even stressing about blogging as wel - everyone has been fantastic and amazing and I am enjoying every moment but some of those moments are exceedingly difficult moments - like when child number 1 is shouting for her Mum whilst child number 2 needs fed. Difficult moments.

However - everyone is happy and healthy and we are, as Sophie herself says, "a Happy Family".

We are off on our next adventures very soon so keep your eyes peeled for some new exciting photos but for now here is a selection from the last week.

Tummy Time? With a frog - are you you kidding me?

Out at the shops - staying cool
