Blair Drummond and the teddy bears picnic

Guess what? It's been another busy week - of course it has, what else would it have been?

In between lots of playtime with my Mum (Glasgow Gran), swimming with myself and Katie, and going to softplay with me whilst Katie shopped - it has been non stop, just the way we like it.

Sophie has also been continuing to teeth, her top molars are now through and her bottom ones on the way. This has also been non-stop but she has carried on smiling regardless. (most of the time)

On Saturday, Paul (my brother), our Dad and I went for a hillwalk all day which left Katie, Sophie and Nicole to their own devices so they decided to organise a teddy bears picnic for Sophie and her toys - a great time was had by all.

And on Sunday Katie has arranged with some of Sophie's friends to meet up at Blair Drummond safari park - I have to say that she wasn't so interested in the animals this time - more into running around and picking up stones.

 Sophie, Olivia and Logan

"what's in here?"
"a guinea pig!"

Sophie also discovered a new game - walking in Daddy's shadow - she was very determined not to move out of the shadow but typically the sky clouded over and spoiled the fun.

Then near the end of the day - pretty much at sleep time - we had to focus as we settled down to watch a barn owl and an eagle fly over our heads.

Oh - nearly forgot - we also saw a big Clydesdale horse which Sophie enjoyed getting up close to.

Sophie's kitchen adventures continue as do her adventures with play-doh and her new toy room (our dining room)

And here is the dining room after Sophie's friend Olivia came round to play....

All this hard work means that we must drink lots and lots of water and eat lots of snacks - yum yum.

See you next week.
