The last two weeks....

So here we go - another gap in the posts but I had a bit of an excuse last week - every year a group of guys from my work go abroad for a weekend and I didn't get home until 1.30am on the Sunday night and I had to get some sleep before getting up for work at 6am.

The good news is though that I am now on summer holidays and that means not only lots of new things to do with the kids but also perhaps a wee bit more freedom to post some more on the blog.

Let's catch up on whats been happening  - a couple of weeks ago Sophie had lots of birthday parties - one we didn't cover at the time was her friend Lucy's who had a pony party. Here is Sophie riding pocket rocket - we have previously photographed her brushing this pony but it was her first shot on him.

When Daddy was away to Hamburg, Gran Hilary came to visit and Sophie and Lauchlan had a great time. Maybe next time I will get to see Gran Hilary too and I won't be disappearing off somewhere!

My one and only photograph from my time in Hamburg is below - there is a massive big shed called the fishmarket in Hamburg and it opens at about 5am and closes at lunchtime. there are two big stages at either end of this big hall - when one band finishes all the  punters ove down the other end for the next gig. An amazing place.

Sophie's vegetables continue to grow at an incredible rate - we have ejoyed some lettuce so far but looking forward to some potatoes.

So - the holidays are upon us and we are looking forward to some great adventures - we have already been to the science centre and the park (a zillion times) here's to a summer of great memories and photographs.
