It's been a great week - we visited Gran Hilary and Alisdhair in Campbeltown - we were followed there by the tail end of a hurricane - or as we used to know it in Scotland, a windy day.
There were many highlights of our short trip but the shower cubicle proved popular as did the piano.
Probably Sophie's favourite thing was working in the kitchen with Gran to produce a chocolate cake - another of her favourite things was eating the aforementioned cake.
We visited Carradale as usual and we headed down to the beach on a very blustery day - the waves were high and the wind was fast but we had a laugh and even managed a paddle.
When we got home we continued to make the most of our time together - Sophie and Lauchlan have decided that pudding time is better down at the kids table.
We went for a visit to our favourite park and had a great time along with a brilliant lunch in a cafe - Lauchlan was very quiet drinking his apple juice. Yes, teeth were brushed afterwards.
Our vegetable adventures kind of peetered out when the summer ended back in May and we have hardly been in the garden since. However, Dad had to use five minutes of dry weather this week to put away garden furniture and we had a wee speculative look in our potato bag - we struck potato!
To finish our October week round up here are a couple of videos for you and another photo from our day out at Victoria Park.
