Only two weeks into the new term and I have had a parents night, been in the University library most nights, had my car in the garage (again), been dealing with the snow, submitted an assignment and emptied a flat that we have sold.
Busy? Nah - I think I was busier once. (aye right)
I hope you are all well and apologies for the absence - I haven't even managed to put words to the Christmas photos yet but I will do soon.
I also don't have too many photos to update you with but I can fill you in on how the kids are. Both are fantastic as usual, Sophie's level of creativity and role play is exceptional. Keeps me busy right enough at 7.30 this morning she was Mrs Claus and I was Santa and she was getting my sack ready with all the toys for the girls and boys. Sophie has been complaining a lot about her current nursery and it has become so bad we decided to move her - she is delighted and even said today excitedly - "i can make new friends". She certainly isn't nervous which is great.
Lauchlan on the other hand had his first wee haircut the other day - he dealt with it the way he deals with most things - with a bit of a smile and a swagger. He has a high temperature today and has been struggling a bit with his teeth but he is getting really funny. He now says yes and no really clearly and makes very good use of them let me tell you. He can say an extraordinary amount of words but doesn't really say them unless you ask him to - he's a funny fish.
Great kids, tiring lifestyle but this year we have lots to look forward to - perhaps a family holiday and then some building work at our house which is seriously going to complicate our living arrangements. Well, who wants to be boring eh?
