Goodbye to nursery for Sophie - it has been a blast - moving nursery was one of the best things we did, the space and the nurture at this place has been awesome. Thanks to all the staff - Sophie will miss them all but she is ready for her new adventure.
We were fortunate to have an invasion of painted lady butterfly in our garden - apparently it was a once in a decade event where they appear in their gazillions.
We have had a great summer with the kids - a lot of hanging about trying to sort the house out but we ended up getting to go to Gullane for five days. we had a blast as you may imagine.
We visited the National museum of flight (who knew/) and we boarded a real concorde.
We went on a double decker bus that was very exciting - we went to North Berwick to get the bus into Edinburgh for Noan's big birthday - what a day!
We went to the most amazing farm park near Dunbar but this is the only really good photo that we took, we have a video of the kids riding a unicorn but that's probably something you are used to seeing everyday - if I get a chance I will post it later.
We went strawberry picking in Dunbar, went for a swim and saw a digger.......
Oh sorry - these are out of sequence these are also of the amazing farm park - hahah!
Oh and here's the unicorn in case you thought I was making it up!
There was some incredible sledging.....
And we had a barbecue on the beach with a bunch of waspy b******..
There was even a funfair when we got home..............and Sophie got to spend her last week before school with just Mum and Dad which was nice for all of us - what an amazing wee girl she is.
